Kuttu, Singhade, Samag, Rajgira, Sabudana etc. are fruitful cereals during Navratri fast. You can use Kuttu, Singhade and Rajgira as flour. Samach khichdi, kheer and dhokla can also be made. Sabudana papad, kheer, khichdi and vada can also be eaten.

Cumin and cumin powder, black pepper and its powder, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, parsley, dried pomegranate seeds, tamarind and nutmeg can be used as spices during fasting.

People consume more vegetarian diet in Navratri. In this, you can eat sweet potato, potato, arbi, kachlu, spinach, zucchini, ghee, cucumber, carrot vegetable.

During fasting in Navratri, eat your food by making it with desi ghee and almond oil. You can also eat oil-free food.

Consumption of fruits during fasting reduces nutritional deficiencies in the body. Fruits like papaya, apple, pear and pomegranate must be eaten. The body gets energy by consuming these fruits.

Milk and milk products like curd, lassi, buttermilk, cottage cheese, cheese, white butter, ghee, sour cream and khoya can also be consumed.

What not to eat during the fast-
Avoid eating non-vegetarian food in the vrat of Navratri. Also do not use onion and garlic.

Turmeric, asafetida, mustard oil, fenugreek seeds, garam masala and coriander powder are not used during Navratri fast. Eat only rock salt in salt. Do not cook in refined oil or soybean oil during the fast.
