Mumbai. During the upcoming Dussehra and Deepawali festivals, it has been decided by Western Railway to operate 3 pairs of additional festival special trains for the convenience of passengers. According to Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Sumit Thakur, 3 pairs of special trains will be run as festival specials for different destinations for the convenience of passengers. Among these, one train each will run between Okha – Gorakhpur, Surat – Puri and Gandhidham – Visakhapatnam stations. Two trains, including Jaipur- Hyderabad and Udaipur- New Jalpaiguri, will pass through Western Railway.

1). Train no. 05046/05045 Okha-Gorakhpur Weekly Festival Special Train (12 rounds): Train no. 05046 Okha – Gorakhpur special train will leave Okha on every Sunday at 21.00 and reach Gorakhpur at 19.25 on Tuesday. This train will run from 25 October to 29 November 2020. Similarly, on the return journey, train no. 05045 Gorakhpur-Okha special train will depart from Gorakhpur at 04.45 hrs on every Thursday and reach Okha at 03.55 hrs on Saturday. This train will run from 22 October to 26 November 2020. During this train journey, Dwarka, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Viramgam Jn., Ahmedabad, Anand Jn., Chhayapuri, Godhra, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, Shahjahanpur, Biwara Rajgarh, Ruthiya, Guna, Ashoknagar, Mugawali , Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior, Morena, Dhaulpur, Agra Cantt, Raja Ki Mandi, Tundla Jn., Etawah, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Badshahnagar, Barabanki, Gonda and Basti stations. This train will have AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, sleeper and second class seating coaches.

2). Train no. 02828/02827 Surat-Puri Weekly Superfast Festival Special Train (12 rounds): Train no. 02828 Surat-Puri special train will leave Surat at 08.30 hrs on every Tuesday and reach Puri at 16.15 hrs the next day. This train will run from October 27 to December 1, 2020. Similarly, on the return journey, train no. 02827 Puri-Surat special train will depart Puri at 19.45 hrs on every Sunday and reach Surat on Tuesday at 03.20 hrs. This train will run from 25 October to 29 November 2020. During this train journey, Jalgaon Jn., Bhusawal Jn., Nagpur, Gondia Jn., Durg, Raipur Jn., Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Balangir, Bargarh Road, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road Jn. Will stay at stations. This train will have AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, sleeper and second class seating coaches.

3). Train no. 08502/08501 Gandhidham-Visakhapatnam Weekly Festival Special Train (12 rounds): Train no. 08502 Gandhidham- Visakhapatnam special train will depart from Gandhidham at 22.45 hrs on every Sunday and reach Visakhapatnam at 14.35 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 25 October to 29 November 2020. Similarly, on the return journey, train no. 08501 Visakhapatnam- Gandhidham special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 17.35 hrs on every Thursday and reach Gandhidham at 09.00 hrs on Saturday. This train will run from 22 October to 26 November 2020. During this train journey, Bhachau, Samakhiali, Viramgam Jn., Ahmedabad Jn., Anand Jn., Vadodara Jn., Ankleshwar Jn., Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon Jn., Bhusawal, Malkapur, Akola Jn., Badnera Jn. ., Wardha Jn., Chandrapur Maharashtra, Balharshah Jn., Sirpur Kagaznagar, Ramagundam, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada Jn., Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot Jn. And will stay at Duvvada stations. The train will have AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, sleeper, second class seating and pantrycar coaches.

4). Train no. 02719/02720 Jaipur-Hyderabad Bi-Weekly Festival Special Train (22 rounds): Train no. 02719 Jaipur – Hyderabad special train will leave Jaipur at 15.20 hrs on every Wednesday and Friday and reach Hyderabad at 00.45 hrs on Friday and Sunday respectively. This train will run from 23 October to 27 November 2020. Similarly in return train no. 02720 Hyderabad-Jaipur special train will leave Hyderabad at 20.35 hrs on every Monday and Wednesday and reach Jaipur at 06.05 hrs on Wednesday and Friday respectively. This train will run from October 21 to November 25, 2020. During this train journey, Phulera, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh Jn., Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam Jn., Ujjain Jn., Itarsi Jn., Khandwa, Malkapur, Akola Jn., Washim, Hingoli, Basmat, Poorna Jn. ., Will stop at Nanded, Mudkhed, Nizamabad, Kamareddy and Secunderabad stations. This train will have AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, sleeper and second class seating coaches.

5). Train no. 09601/09602 Udaipur-New Jalpaiguri Weekly Festival Special Train (12 rounds) Train no. 09601 Udaipur-New Jalpaiguri special train will depart from Udaipur at 00.20 hrs on every Saturday and reach New Jalpaiguri at 18.35 hrs the next day. This train will run from October 24 to November 28, 2020. Similarly, on the return journey, train no. 09602 New Jalpaiguri-Udaipur special train will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 08.15 hrs on every Monday and reach Udaipur at 03.55 hrs on Wednesday. This train will run from 26 October to 30 November 2020. During this train journey, Rana Pratapnagar, Mavli Jn., Kapasan, Chanderia, Bhilwara, Bijaynagar, Nasirabad, Ajmer Jn., Jaipur, Alwar Jn., Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt, Delhi, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Barabanki Jn., Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Shivri Jn., Chapra, Hajipur Jn., Muzaffarpur Jn., Samastipur, Khagadia Jn., Katihar Jn. And will stay at Kishanganj stations. This train will have AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, sleeper and second class seating coaches.

Reservation: Booking of train numbers 05046 and 08502 will start from October 22, 2020 and booking of train number 02828 will be started from October 24, 2020 on the scheduled PRS counters and IRCTC website. All the above trains will run as fully reserved trains.

According to another important decision, Train no. 09263/09264 Chandlodiya station halt of Porbandar-Delhi Sarai Rohilla special train has been withdrawn and replaced with a new halt at Ambli Road station.
