Uttarakhand: Chief Minister reviews centrally funded schemes, said- meet target on time


Dehradun. A meeting of the State Level Disha Samiti was conducted through video conferencing this evening in the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Auditorium at Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. It reviewed the progress of centrally funded schemes and programs. Presiding over the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the officers that the members of the committee should make necessary information available to the MPs and MLAs on time. Planning of district level meetings should be ensured. The targets given in various schemes should be completed on time. Special attention should also be paid to the quality of works.

To compensate for the delay caused by the corona, double the energy will have to be worked out. He said that adequate funds are available in the Mineral Sector Welfare Scheme. In this, work related to infrastructure, social sector and environmental protection should be done. Placement should be given prominence in the Prime Minister’s Skill Development Scheme. The Digital India Land Records Modernization Program is to be implemented rapidly in all districts. Good work has been done in MNREGA. It should be ensured that there is no problem in creating new job cards. Connection with this should be given top priority to the villages which do not have telecom connectivity.

Additional Chief Secretary Manisha Panwar said that 41 centrally funded schemes and programs are reviewed by the Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA). Its objective is to maximize the available resources and increase synergy with the cooperation of the elected representatives. A state level committee headed by the Chief Minister and a district level committee has been formed under the chairmanship of MPs. The state level committee consists of all MPs and some MLAs. The committee can give recommendations to the Government of India as required for reviewing the flow of funds, resolving matters like land, location, improving the implementation of schemes, along with coordination and monitoring.

PMGSY, NRLM, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Grameen, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojana, MNREGA, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Mid-Day Meal, Digital India, National Social Assistance Program, Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana, Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan, AMRUT, Prime Minister Housing Planning Urban, Clean India Mission, Smart City Mission, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana, Integrated Power Development Scheme, Digital India Land Records Modernization Program, Prime Minister Agricultural Irrigation Scheme, Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, National Agricultural Development Scheme, Traditional Agricultural Development Scheme , Soil Health Card, E-Naam, Water Life Mission, National Health Mission, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, National Food Security, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Program, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana, Telecom, Railways, Programs and schemes of National Highways, Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Program etc. were reviewed.

The meeting was attended by MPs Ajay Bhatt, Ajay Tamta, MLAs Rajesh Shukla, Dhan Singh Negi, Ram Singh Kaida, Chief Secretary Omprakash, Secretaries RK Sudhanshu, Shailesh Bagoli, Nitesh Jha and R Meenakshi Sundaram along with senior officials of the government, DM, Chief Development Officer and Departmental officers were present.
