Schools have been closed since March, making educational activities of educational institutions difficult. Dharmendra said that this unprecedented time requires unprecedented measures, so despite all the hurdles, our teachers are working hard to find innovative solutions to make learning better and accessible to all.
He informed that in such difficult times, the Education Department of Palika Parishad has come up with the idea of starting two channels for students to continue the education session. Of these, two YouTube channels have been launched for the channel “Navyug Vidyalayas”, “Navyug Pragati” and for Atal Adarsh Vidyalayas, “Atal Adarsh Shiksha”. These will be digital platforms for our students to teach by our own teachers. The council council president said that our teachers will now upload their educational lessons on these YouTube channels. This will help the students to learn and understand easily and they will continue their studies from their homes. These videos will be used in online classroom sessions and teachers will also provide students with question-answer sheets related to the topic of the video. Such an effort will to a large extent compensate for the actual classroom teaching by our teachers.
He informed that these channels will broadcast videos of subjects by experts on the subject of curriculum from class nursery to class-12. However the first phase will focus on primary wing for all subjects and these will be broadcast from these education YouTube channels. These videos will be based on the school’s syllabus and will be produced by Palika Parishad teachers, who teach students in schools. New Delhi Municipal Council Secretary Amit Singla and Director (Education) RP Gupta were also present on the occasion of the launch of these YouTube channels.
