Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India has done a trinity of reforms in the fields of education, labor and agriculture and together they affect almost every Indian. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Canadian businessmen at the Invest India conference on Thursday. In this event organized through video conferencing, PM Modi informed the businessmen about the investment opportunities in India. Inviting Canadian investors, the Prime Minister stressed that India is making rapid changes in the mindset along with the market.
The Prime Minister said, India has started the journey of de-regulation and decriminalization under the Companies Act. India has easily moved from 142 to 63 in the rating given to facilitate the World Bank’s business in the last five years. He emphasized that reforms in labor laws greatly reduce the number of labor codes. They are favorable for both the employee and the employer. And increase ease of doing business. He said that this is an opportunity to develop, as there were a variety of problems during Kovid-19. Modi said that we have liberalized the tax system for government property and pension fund and FDI system has been liberalized greatly.
Prime Minister Modi said that with the improvement of education, foreign universities will be able to come into the country. The Prime Minister said that India is playing the role of world pharmacy and we have so far provided medicines to 150 countries. He said, India-Canada bilateral relations are driven by our shared democratic values and many common interests.
