Kolkata. A soldier has been recovered from a noose in the capital Kolkata. His name is Asubhash Das (40). He was a soldier of the Rajput Regiment of the Indian Army and was posted in the NCC at Tamluk. Currently, he was on leave and lived with his wife at 157 H / 1 Swinehoe Lane under Kasba, Kolkata.
He was hanged at 12:10 late Monday. He died at 02:30 pm while undergoing treatment at CNMC Hospital. SSD Division Deputy Commissioner Raseet Munir Khan has given information about this on Tuesday morning.
He told that the jawan was addicted to drinking more alcohol everyday, due to which he had to fight with his wife everyday. The deceased also consumed excessive alcohol on Monday night and had a dispute with his wife over the protest. During the interrogation, no investigation has been detected at the moment, nor has any complaint been received. The body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death.
