Suicide attack on Governor’s convoy in Kabul, eight people killed, more than 30 injured

Kabul. In Afghanistan, a suicide attack on the convoy of Laghman Governor Rahmatullah Yarmal was carried out on Monday morning. According to Governor’s spokesman Asadullah Dawlatzai, the convoy was attacked with explosives. Suddenly, the attacker came forward and blew himself up. The governor narrowly escaped the incident, but eight people have died. More than 30 people were injured.

According to media reports, the Governor’s spokesperson said that the target of the suicide attack was the Governor. The incident occurred while he was traveling from his guest house to the office. According to the interior ministry, four guards of the governor, including four civilians, have died in the incident.

At the same time, 38 civilians are reported injured. So far no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for this attack. The Taliban are being blamed for this attack. However, the organization has not responded to the matter.
