On the first day of Sharadiya Navratri, there is a belief of worship of mother Shailputri. Due to this corona crisis, mother’s darshan definitely did not take place in Vasantik (Chaitra) Navaratri, but after the permission of the administration, this time the temple curtain has been opened for devotees in Shardiya Navaratri.
In view of the crowd of devotees in Navratri, security arrangements have been tightened throughout Maihar. A large number of police forces have been called not only from the district but also from other nearby districts. The SP and Additional SP level officers are monitoring the entire security system.
