SDOP and police station in-charge suspended for negligence in the investigation of crimes related to women

Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while taking a major action before the Home Department meeting on Thursday, suspended SDOP Dhruvesh Jaiswal of Wadrafnagar and police station in-charge Raghunathanagar Jan Pradeep Lakda for negligence in the investigation of crimes related to women. Immediately following the instructions of the Chief Minister, Director General of Police D.M. An order in this regard has also been issued by Awasthi. Their headquarters have been kept at the office of Inspector General of Police, Surguja during the suspension period.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has already given instructions to work with priority and with utmost sincerity for prevention of crimes against women. The Chief Minister has also written a letter to the Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court recently, requesting to notify the required number of fast track courts in all districts for speedy hearing of cases related to sexual offenses. He has also agreed to provide all necessary support from the state government for this.
