Jind Detective staff raided Kothi in the Urban Estate last night and busted a five-storey shop by exposing a gang for betting on an IPL cricket match. The Delhi vs Chennai cricket match was going on during the raid. Police have seized laptops, ten mobile sets, cash of Rs 12 thousand 700 and registers from the possession of stores. Detective staff were informed that IPL cricket matches are being betted on a rented Kothi in A block of Urban Estate.

On the basis of this, Detective Staff Incharge Samarjit raided Kothi while the cricket match between Delhi vs Chennai was going on. The guerrilla team captured the five people present there. On being searched, laptop, LED, ten mobile sets, cash and registers worth Rs 12 thousand 700 were recovered from his possession. In which contact numbers of some people were written.

The youths caught in police interrogation were identified as Vinod, Sonu, Sushant, resident of Hari Nagar, Suraj, resident of Defense Colony, Vinit, resident of village Sudana, village Mandi Kalan. . Detective Staff Incharge Samarjeet said that the raids were carried out on the directions of DIG cum SP OP Narwal. Five youths were caught betting on the cricket match during the raid.
