Former District President Shrikant Katiyar
Former district president Shrikant Katiyar is a resident of Mohalla town Tola of Bangarmau. Srikanth Katiyar, being a local resident, has a good hold among the local workers and is also constantly holding meetings among the workers. In the by-election, the Bharatiya Janata Party has also done the work of giving importance to the organization by giving ticket to Shrikant Katiyar. Srikanth Katiyar hails from a backward caste and plays an active role in the work of the organization. He has also risked his life in an accident during party work in the past years.
Five MLAs one MP
District President Rajkishore said during the conversation that his preparations are complete. Party workers will leave no stone unturned to win Srikanth Katiyar. Significantly, BJP has 4 out of the 6 assembly seats in the district. While a Purva Assembly MLA Anil Singh is running with the BJP after winning the election on a BSP ticket. In such a situation, Sakshi Maharaj, MLA and MP of 5 Assembly, will have to stand in favor of Shrikant Katiyar either in compulsion or voluntarily. Which includes Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit, Sadar MLA Pankaj Gupta, Mohan MLA Brijesh Rawat, Safipur MLA Bamba Lal Diwakar.
