New Delhi, October 17 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address eminent scientists and researchers from around the world on Sunday at the Grand Challenges Annual Meeting 2020 to discuss key priorities related to the Kovid-19 pandemic.

The meeting is being held to discuss ways to accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals in the post-pandemic world and manage the COVID-19 challenges.

Grand Challenge India works in the range of health and developmental priorities, from agriculture, nutrition, hygiene, maternity and child health to infectious diseases.

The Prime Minister will deliver the keynote address via video conferencing at the opening ceremony of the Grand Challenge Annual Meeting 2020 at 7.30 pm. This information was given by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Saturday.

For the last 15 years, the Grand Challenges Annual Meeting has promoted international innovation cooperation to meet the biggest challenges in health and development.

The Grand Challenges Annual Meeting 2020 will be held virtually on October 19-21, bringing together policy makers and scientists, calling for intensive scientific collaboration to solve global health problems.

The PMO said, global leaders, eminent scientists and researchers from around the world will attend this annual meeting, which will discuss key priorities to speed progress in the Sustainable Development Goals in the post-pandemic world and to manage the COVID-19 We will discuss in detail how to solve the challenges.

About 1,600 people from 40 countries will participate in this annual meeting.

The Grand Challenges Annual Meeting 2020 was organized by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, Indian Council of Medical Research and Policy, as well as Grand Challenges Canada, United States Agency for International Development and Welcome Will go.
