According to the station in-charge Bahri Kapoor Tripathi, during the night patrol, information was received from the informer that Brij Kishore Jaiswal, seller of Seva Cooperative Society, Devgwan, is about to carry the grain (wheat) distributed to the beneficiaries in the pickup of Shivnath Sahu. However, taking advantage of the darkness, Kotdar Brijkishore Jaswal alias Pappu fled from the spot on seeing the police. But the pickup owner Shivnath Sahu remained in the vehicle which was arrested and started to interrogate him.
During interrogation, Sahu said that he had purchased wheat loaded in pickup from the seller Brijkishore Jaswal alias Pappu for Rs 1300 per quintal. Will take it to market and sell it at a higher price. In such a situation, the police seized 72 bags of wheat and 50 bags of wheat (50 kg in each bag). The weight of jabbed wheat is 36 quintals, which has been valued at 46 thousand 800.
In this action taken on the instruction of SP Pankaj Kumawat, the police station in-charge including Assistant Sub-Inspector Devendra Pandey, constable Dinesh Singh and women constable Sudha were involved.
