For this reason, he has directed the Mumbai Police to investigate the matter. Anil Deshmukh told reporters on Friday that NCB is investigating the drug case in Mumbai. He had received complaints against several people related to the film industry for their involvement in drug cases. So they had sent all these complaints to NCB but NCB has not investigated these people till now.
On Thursday, Karnataka Police came to Mumbai to investigate these people and are investigating. For this reason, now the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police is also going to investigate the drug case. The Home Minister said that he has ordered Crime Branch of Mumbai Police to investigate the drug case.
It is noteworthy that the Karnataka police arrested film actress Ragini Dwivedi with drugs. In this case, the Karnataka Police on Thursday searched the house of film actor Vivek Oberoi in Mumbai. In this case, Karnataka Police has registered a case against Aditya Alva, brother-in-law of Vivek Oberoi. On Thursday, the Karnataka police raided Vivek Oberoi’s house in search of Aditya Alva. After this, Karnataka Police has also called Vivek Oberoi and his wife to Bangalore for questioning.
The Home Minister said that he had demanded the investigation of the case from NCB but now the Karnataka Police is doing this work. Now the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police will also investigate this case.
