Mumbai. The metro rail service will start from Monday for the metropolitan cities of Mumbai. Mono rail service started in Mumbai on Sunday. In Mumbai, local services, mono rail and metro rail services were discontinued from 22 March due to Corona. The state government had allowed the introduction of metro rail and mono rail, but due to lack of prior preparation of these two services, these services could not be started.
Mono Rail official Rohan Salunkhe said that in view of the corona, special rules have been made for the passengers. Under this, it is mandatory for passengers to wear masks while traveling in mono rail. It has also been made mandatory for the passengers to follow the social distance, travel with very less luggage. The service of Mono Rail will be available for common citizens from 7am to 03am from 11am to 40pm and from 4pm to 3pm from 9am to 24pm from Sunday.
Metro Rail executive Abhay Kumar Mishra said that 200 services are being started from Monday. No passenger will be given entry if there is no mask in the metro. Following the rules of Metro Rail has been made compulsory for passengers.
