new Delhi. The pollution issue in Delhi is once again hot. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has targeted the central government in the matter of pollution. Sisodia said in a press conference on Tuesday that the entire North India is suffering due to the inaction of the Central Government on pollution. Sisodia said that burning of crop residues and straw in many states of North India before winter increases pollution. It is not only the problem of Delhi but the entire north India is affected by it.
He said that it is unfortunate that the central government did not take any step on this issue throughout the year and then completed formalities on some meetings. Even then, the Center did not take the issue seriously. The central government will have to play a role to reduce pollution in North India. Sisodia said that this time the situation is already bad due to Corona virus, in such a situation the problem will become more serious due to increasing pollution. Corona cases in Delhi have crossed 3 lakh. He said that it is a matter of relief that a large number of them have also recovered.
