Kolkata. The report of the assassination of Bharatiya Janata Party councilor Manish Shukla at Barrackpore in North 24 Parganas has been sent to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. BJP state in-charge and national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya gave this information. After meeting Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar at Raj Bhavan Kolkata on Monday, Vijayvargiya said that the entire incident has been conveyed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. They have been told how the opposition party workers are being killed in the state.
The culprits are shooting from Stengan in front of the police station. This is not possible without the help of the police. He said that the real culprits are the police officers Manoj Verma and Ajay Thakur. Action should be taken against them. Vijayvargiya met Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday evening and demanded intervention in the case of the state’s constantly deteriorating law and order and the killing of anti-party activists. After Shukla’s murder, Vijayvargiya went straight to the Raj Bhavan after the body was complained of post mortem delay at the NRS Hospital and met the Governor.
Vijayvargiya tweeted that Bengal’s constantly deteriorating law and order and requested Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar to stop the daily killings of those with different views from the ruling party. He wrote in another tweet along with the photo of the meeting with the Governor that the Governor expressed serious concern over the present situation and gave strict instructions to the state government and assured to send his report to the Home Ministry as well.
