During the proceedings, about 15 liters of hand furnace raw liquor and about 6200 kg of Mahua Lahan were seized from various places. The remaining Mahua Lahan with the sample was destroyed on the spot. Ramji Pandey, GD Lahoria, Bharti Gound, Girija Dhurve, Neeraj Dubey, Sudhir Mishra etc. were present during the proceedings.
Raw wine was being made in the forest
Khamaria police station raided the forest of Ghediri around 5 pm on Thursday evening, where a large amount of raw liquor was being made. 54 liters of raw liquor was recovered from the spot. When searching around in the forest, about 5 thousand liters of lahan found in 25 drums, ready to be removed. About 2 thousand liters of raw liquor were produced from the said liquor. Lahan was destroyed on the spot.
