In the latest episode of Sony TV’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 12, host Amitabh Bachchan was with Raj Lakshmi from Patna, Bihar. The contestant shared her background and how she takes care of the whole family. Raj Lakshmi was accompanied by her father at the event and her mother attended the event via video call. Both the parents kept insisting that Raj Lakshmi is their son.

Mr. Bachchan used this moment to emphasize the importance of gender equality. He told Raj Lakshmi’s parents that whenever they call and compare their daughter, their son, it seems that the place of male son in the society is high.

Big B then went on to set his own example and shared it at home.

Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda are considered equal and when he dies their wealth will be equally divided among his children. He also persuaded them that girls should be treated as girls and that there was nothing wrong with that.

Later, Raj Lakshmi completed her game on a good note and took home a prize of Rs 12.5 lakh. Another contestant who took the hot seat was Mumbai-based entrepreneur named Swapnil Ramesh Chauhan.

But as Swapnil moved on to the second question of two thousand rupees, Big B’s computer stopped working for about 10 seconds. Surprised, Mr. Bachchan told the contestants, “The computer is stuck.” But before he could help, the screen came back and the game continued. In tonight’s series, Amitabh Bachchan will continue to play with Swapnil.
