Karn Bypass to be built in Karnal at Rs 1 crore: Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said that the National Highways Authority of India has given final approval for the Karnal Eastern Bypass, which will be constructed here. 1300 crore to decorate the city.

The bypass will be 35 kilometers long and 7 kilometers wide. Starting from GT Road, it will cover the area between Madhuban and Kutel in Karnal and connect to Jhanjhari village.

Khattar said the bypass would also facilitate connectivity to nearby villages.

The Chief Minister was speaking at a function organized at Deenbandhu Chaudhary Chhotu Ram Namaste Chowk in Karnal city.

He said that Karnal is a smart city and is developing to a large extent Rs 1000 crore will be spent to achieve this target. So far, the development works have been profitable Rs 350 crore is in progress under the Smart City project, said Khattar, an MLA from Karnal.
