The Bandra Magistrate Metropolitan Court directed the Mumbai Police to register a complaint against Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel for trying to escalate communal tensions. Stating that he was inciting hatred in the society through his social media posts, the court directed the Mumbai police to register an FIR against the sisters over the allegations made by the complainant.
According to ANI, “Mumbai: The Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court has ordered the filing of a police complaint against actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel for allegedly trying to sow discord among communities, including social media posts.”
Metropolitan Magistrate Jaydev Khule said in his order, “From the initial shock of the complaint and submission … I found that the accused had committed a cognizable crime. The total allegations are made after commenting on electronic media – Twitter and interviews. The accused use social media like Twitter.” A thorough investigation by an expert is required … In this case, search and seizure is required, “said casting director and fitness trainer Munnaravarli Syed.
Kangana was not too scared about this as she took to her Twitter handle to share photos of Navratri celebrations and she wrote, ‘Pappu Sena’ is driving her crazy. “Who is everyone fasting for Navratri? Pictures of me fasting during today’s celebrations were clicked, meanwhile I don’t think Pappu Sena is torturing me in Maharashtra, don’t visit me soon. #Navratri,” read her tweet.

Recently, a Karnataka court had directed the police to register an FIR against the actress for her anti-farmer tweets.
Meanwhile, Rangoli’s Twitter account was suspended earlier this year for spreading hatred on social media platforms. Since Kangana made her debut on social media, her official accounts have been taken over which was previously handled by her media team and her presence has been felt ever since.
