Delhi Rajdhani clinched an easy 46-run victory over Rajasthan Royals at the Sharjah Cricket Ground on Friday. With this victory, Delhi Capital overtook Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2020 table. Marcus Stoinis was a star both batting and ball and Kagiso Rabada stopped the game with three wickets for the Delhi franchise. After their fourth consecutive defeat, Rajasthan Royals are now seventh in the points table. Mumbai Indians, ranked second, will take on Delhi Capital in a top-flight match on Sunday.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are third with three wins from six matches while Kolkata Knight Riders are fourth in the points table with three wins from five matches.
Royal Challengers Bangalore, ranked fifth, are sixth in the table against Chennai Super Kings on Saturday.
Kerala Rahul owns the Orange Cap. He has scored 313 runs in six matches. But Shreyas Iyer and Prithvi Shaw are at the top and sixth and seventh respectively.
Iyer scored 22 while Shaw made a 19-run cameo on Friday.
Chennai Super Kings’ Faf du Plessis is 14 runs behind him and is second with 299 runs in six matches.
Mayank Agarwal is third with 211 runs, while Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Johnny Bairstow and David Warner are at 211 and 227 respectively.
