Investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput case is still going on; news of closure of the case is wrong – CBI


Mumbai. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said on Thursday that the reports about the closure of Sushant Singh Rajput case in the media are not true and such reports are baseless and false. The CBI clarified that their investigation into Sushant case is still going on.

ED and NCB are also investigating the case

For the past few days, there have been reports in some parts of the media that suggest that the CBI is about to end the case and is ready to file a closure report in this regard. “The investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has been continued by the CBI,” the CBI said in a brief statement. There is speculation in the media that the CBI has reached no conclusion. These reports are based on speculation and are false. Apart from the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are also investigating the case.

‘Why are you in such a hurry to close the case?’

BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy also reacted to such reports on Thursday, asking why some people are in a hurry to close the case. Swamy tweeted, ‘To my knowledge, there are media reports that the CBI is closing the final report related to the FIR of Sushant Singh’s unnatural death in the next two days, which is false. Why is Mumbai in such a hurry to close the case?

‘7 points related to post mortem report needed to be evaluated’
In a tweet made earlier, he wrote, ‘Dr. Sudhir Gupta met me today to apprise him of the non-classified forensic findings in Sushant case after the letter of the Standing Committee, as directed by the Health Ministry. In the Sushant case, AIIMS had highlighted seven points in connection with the post mortem made by Cooper Hospital. With the Health Committee of the Ministry of Family and Health Welfare, I am officially pushing those points for evaluation. This is necessary before the CBI concludes the Sushant case. ‘

Trying to divert attention from the truth – Sushant’s brother-in-law

Sushant’s brother-in-law Vishal Kirti has written a special note for the actor, tweeting. Calling the day of Sushant’s death a tragic day, Vishal lashed out at those who defamed the family registering the case and asked his followers to be careful with those who raise suspicion in everyone’s mind. Vishal said that this kind of work is done to blame the victim family and divert attention from the truth.
