Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in Abu Dhabi on Sunday thanks to two wickets from Lucky Ferguson in addition to three in Super Time. Ferguson scored two runs in the super over by SRH skipper David Warner and Abdul Samad. KKR skipper Eoin Morgan and former skipper Dinesh Karthik hit three runs off three balls. In the allotted 20 overs, SRH reached 1.3 for six. KKR lost just five wickets in the first innings. Warner hit an unbeaten 47 off 33 balls. It included three fours in the last over of Andre Russell’s regular over. He suffered a hamstring injury and was run out.
Ken Williamson (2) and Johnny Bairstow (36) started the innings with SRH batting first. The first pair added 57 runs in the first six overs while chasing SRH’s 164 runs.
Ferguson brought KKR back into the competition by sending back Williamson and then Priyam Garg (), who has been promoted to No. 3.

For KKR, Ferguson scored 3 for 15 in 4 overs in addition to two wickets in the super over.
Chakraborty, Shivam Mavi and Pat Cummins returned with one wicket each.
Rashid Khan was dismissed for 1 off 28 runs by SRH while Vijay Shankar was the most profitable. 1 for 20 in four overs.
With this win, KKR consolidated their position at number four as they now have 10 points from nine matches.
SRH is fifth with six points from nine games.
