The authority has ordered real estateers to appoint a forensic auditor. Now forensic audit will be conducted to investigate the changes in the area of various units without amending the approved building plan.
The promoter has been ordered to issue a warrant to appear before the authority with all the documents.
The builder is developing a residential project in Sector 67 of Gurugram. Action was initiated by the authority after the allottees received a complaint.
This decision was taken under the chairmanship of Dr. KK Khandelwal, Chairman of Harera Gurugram. Members of the Harera bench Sameer Kumar and Subhash Chand Kush were also present during the hearing.
The authority has imposed this penalty for delay till the allottees get the actual possession. Apart from this, the authority has ordered the promoters to issue warrants in the name, asking them to appear before the bench along with the documents.
During the order, the bench said that despite giving notice, the promoter is yet to appear before the authority.
During the hearing of the complaints received against Messrs. Sana Realtors, the Harera bench observed that the builder-buyers agreement between the promoters and the allottees took place in the year 2010-11. Accordingly, the possession was to be given in 2013-14. But the promoter has not yet given possession.
