Used multiple networks to dodge
Google said that in September 2017, it had thwarted the attack of 2.5 Tbps Didos with high bandwidth. Google issued a statement saying that thousands of their IPs were targeted simultaneously but despite this the attack had no effect. The attacker exposed 1,80,000 CLADAP, DNS and SMTP servers at 167 Mbps (millions of packets per second) using multiple networks to dodge.

The company further stated that it indicated the attackers to be resourceful as the attack was 4 times larger than the 623 Gbps that Mirai Botnet had a year earlier. It was the highest-bandwidth attack ever.
Didos attack increases unnecessary traffic
Explain that Didos attack unnecessarily disrupts the service of the victim by increasing traffic. However this attack does not expose the user’s data and also does not ask for compromise. Google reported that attackers are constantly developing new technologies to disrupt the system.
