New Delhi. Walmart-owned e-commerce company Flipkart has tied up with digital payment company Paytm for the upcoming festive sale. Under the partnership, Paytm will be offered a number of offerings and benefits to its paying customers. “This partnership will facilitate crores of users of Paytm to pay through ‘Paytm Wallet’ and ‘Paytm UPI’ during the ‘Big Billion Days’ festive sale on Flipkart,” the company said in a statement. Customers will get instant cashback in their Paytm wallet.
‘Big Billion Days’ festival sale to run from 16 to 21 October
The company’s annual ‘Big Billion Days’ festive sale will take place from 16 to 21 October, while the ‘Big Billion Sale’ on Myntra is from 16 to 22 October. According to the statement, this partnership is in line with the preparations for Flipkart’s upcoming festival sale. This time the main focus of SAIL is to provide growth opportunities to micro, small and medium industries. Flipkart’s rival Amazon is expected to announce its annual sale dates this week.
Snapdeal will also bring sale
Snapdeal had also said that it will bring its first festive sale on the occasion of Navratri in mid-October this year. The remaining two more sales will also run in late October and early November.
