Jind CID and CM Flying DSP Ravindra Sharma conducted a surprise inspection of the Uchana Grain Market. In which he asked the farmers and the mandi pradhan about the problems related to the purchase of crops. Mandi head Balraj Shyokand said that there are many problems in the market, which have been struggling for a long time. Cotton was also procured by CCI in Uchana mandi in the previous season but no commission was given. Now CCI will purchase cotton from October 20 in Uchana. He has already met the CM and the Deputy CM about which, but so far no statement has been issued by the government regarding his work.
The government should clarify its position regarding the fact that cotton is being procured by CCI at the earliest. The shops of the second market board have been rescued on open bidding but till now they have not been able to own the shops. At the earliest, the government should get the artisans to own their shops so that they can expand their business. DSP Ravindra Sharma said that whoever has problems with the mandi will send them to the CM so that the jobbers, farmers do not face any kind of problem.
