new Delhi. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the Aadhaar number issuing organization, has launched a new service. Through this service, Aadhaar card holders can get their information printed on Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) card. Some fees will have to be paid for this. If you do not have a registered mobile number, you can still order an Aadhaar PVC card using a non-registered / alternate mobile number.

This Aadhaar PVC card has security features such as QR code, hologram, micro text, image, issue date and print date and Aadhaar logo.

How to get Aadhaar PVC Card:

step 1 : Visit UIDAI website

Step 2 : Go to the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab and click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’.

Step 3 : Now enter 12 digit Aadhaar number / 16 digit digital virtual ID / 28 digit registration number

Step 4 : Enter the security code. If the mobile number is not registered, click on the tick box.

Step 5 : Now enter the non-registered / alternate mobile number, to which a one-time password will be sent.

Step 6 : Click on send otp

Step 7 : Enter the OTP and submit it. If the mobile number is registered with UIDAI, the user will be able to check the Aadhar card preview for checking. If the mobile number is not registered, the preview will not be visible.

Step 8 : Click on ‘Make Payment’ and make payment through credit / debit card, net banking or UPI. For this you will have to pay 50 rupees (including GST and speed post fee). A 28-digit service request number will be generated on completion of payment.

UIDAI will deliver the printed Aadhaar card to the Postal Department for delivery within 5 business days after the Aadhar card PVC order is received. Aadhar card will be delivered through speed post service of postal department.

If a citizen wants to make any change in his information in the printed Aadhaar card, then he must first go to the Aadhaar registration center to update his Aadhaar information and only then he can apply for it.
