Baliya. Dhirendra Pratap Singh, the absconding chief accused in the Ballia shootout, has been arrested by the UP STF team from Lucknow. At the same time, two more people have been arrested from Ballia, on which a reward of Rs 50,000 each was declared.
The UP STF team was on the lookout for Dhirendra Pratap Singh, the main accused in the Ballia case. It was revealed on Sunday morning that Dhirendra is present near Janeshwar Park. Following this information, the STF has laid siege to the park and captured the crook. A reward of 50 thousand rupees was declared on Dhirendra. At the same time, Santhosh Yadav and Amarjeet Yadav were also arrested from Vaishali town of Ballia after Dhirendra was caught. The UP STF team will hand over Dhirendra to the Ballia Police for further action.

Officers were suspended
Taking cognizance of the incident of Ballia incident, Yogi Adityanath suspended eight police personnel of the police station including SDM and CO.
