Sitapur The body of one-and-a-half-year-old innocent, missing for the last 36 hours, was stirred. The dead body has been recovered from a pond behind the house. The family have expressed fear of murder after seeing the condition of the dead body. The police have started investigating the case by sending the body for postmortem. Police say that the investigation will be carried out only after the post mortem report is received. The police have registered a case based on the families’ tahrir and started investigation.
Dead body found in pond
The incident is of the Mahmudabad Kotwali area. Here Azad, a resident of village Shahpur under Kotwali of Bahraich district, came to the house of Hameed, a resident of Gulramau in Mahmudabad with his wife and one and a half year old innocent. Here Hameed’s son was scheduled to get married. Three days ago Azad’s one and a half year old son Arham suddenly disappeared while playing outside the house. No clue of the child could be found till 48 hours after the incident. The police also started looking for the child after registering mischief on the information of family members. After 48 hours, suddenly the body of a child appeared in the pond inside the village, stirring the villagers. Villagers brought the body out of the pond after informing the police about the case. The dead body was identified as one-and-a-half-year-old arham, which was removed from the pond. Family members have expressed their fear of murder after seeing the dead body, but the police are still refusing to speak anything about the murder. CO Mahmudabad Ravi Shankar says that the body has been sent for post-mortem and only after the post-mortem report comes, the cause of the accident will be clear. Police say the family has not expressed any doubt.
