Unnao. The Superintendent of Police had received a letter of complaint regarding the graft charges against two sub-inspectors posted in the district during the public hearing. An order was given to investigate this. The investigation report found prima facie guilty of both sub-inspectors. After which the Superintendent of Police ordered both to be suspended immediately. Both the sub-inspectors suspended were posted at Auras and Thana Safipur. In this regard, the police has posted a note on which side of social media.
Complaint received during public hearing
Superintendent of Police Anand Kulkarni directed to conduct an inquiry on the complaint received during the public hearing. In the investigation report, Sub-Inspector Vinod Kumar posted in Safipur and Virendra Singh, working in Auras police station, were found guilty. It has been told in the information that Vinod Kumar, appointed in police station Safipur, had received a complaint of misbehaving people and illegally demanding money from people in the public mind. Similarly, Virendra Singh, posted in the police station Auras, repeatedly referred to the money transaction during a telephone conversation with the brother of the accused named in Vivechan. He did not refuse during the conversation. Which is contrary to the dignity of his post. The acts of both the sub-inspectors are gross negligence towards duty, tarnishing the image of the police. The Superintendent of Police suspended both sub-inspectors with immediate effect.
