new Delhi. Public sector company Coal India Limited has given gifts to its employees before Diwali. Coal India on Friday announced a performance-based incentive for employees. The company has said in a statement that it will give an incentive of Rs 68,500 to all its non-executive employees for the financial year 2019-20. Coal India is estimated to spend around Rs 1,700 crore on it.
According to the statement of Coal India, the performance based incentives will be paid on the basis of employee attendance during 2019-20. The company said in a statement that it will be paid to employees before October 22, 2020. The company is expected to spend a little over Rs 1,700 crore on this.
The company said that about 2.62 lakh employees of Coal India and its eight subsidiaries would benefit from the scheme. It is to be known that employees working for a minimum of 30 working days during the financial year 2019-20 will also be eligible to avail this scheme. They will also be given proportionate benefits.
