In his bail application, Kshitij Prasad said that there was nothing to suggest that he was involved in any form of financing, illegal trafficking and / or dealing with criminals in respect of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.

Kshitij Prasad refused to comply despite pressure from the NCB, as he did not know any of them personally and did not want to lie to anyone. Wankhede was outraged when Karan Johar refused him, told Kshitij that he would teach him a lesson as he did not want to cooperate and sat him on the floor next to his chair and then placed his face close and declared that he had true “status”. The incident took place in the presence of Sanket and several NCB officials, all of whom laughed at the plight of Kshitij.
