Kabul. There has been a series of talks between the Taliban and the Afghan government for the restoration of peace in Afghanistan, but no results have been revealed so far. Every day, there are reports of attacks or action of soldiers in some area of Afghanistan.
In the latest case, seven soldiers were killed in an armed clash between Taliban fighters and the Afghan army on Saturday, while security forces killed 5 militants. The biggest thing is that this armed conflict between the Taliban and Afghan troops has come at a time when talks are underway to restore peace in Qatar’s capital Doha.
According to media reports, the clash took place in Imam Sahib district of North Kunduz province in Afghanistan on Saturday. On Sunday, a local official confirmed that seven armed soldiers were killed in the armed struggle, while 5 militants were killed.
