The President of the Party Plot Association of the city, Pravinbhai Prajapati, told that garba is organized on 50 to 60 plots, big and small, in the metropolis on Navratri. Due to lack of organizing this time, about 2500 to three thousand people will not get employment. The economic situation of all the big and small artists associated with Garba has deteriorated due to lack of organizing.
It is noteworthy that Garba is organized every year during Navratri in 60 to 70 party plots. Party plots in each city cost around Rs 15 lakh to Rs 40 lakh with decoration during Navratri. The food stalls at Garba organizing places have a turnover of about five crore rupees. The sound, light, security and orchestra had a turn of six hundred and seven million. This time, all these are set to lose Rs 40 to 50 crores.
