As per the data released by the administration, 93 cases of dengue were detected in 2018, 66 in 2017, 86 in 2016 and 451 in 2015.
4 cases of Meleria have been found in the district.
15 cases of malaria have been reported in 2019, 30 in 2018, 48 in 2017, 38 in 2016, 67 cases in 2015.
However, not a single case of Chikungunya was registered in 2018.
The District Malaria Office (Vector Control Department) is taking various remedial and preventive steps to control the spread of the disease.
Health officials said they visited around 11 lakh homes in Gurugram district from June 2020 during the survey. The survey issued notice to 3,708 individuals, as mosquito larvae were found in their homes.
An official said that about 250 places have been identified in the city, where dengue larvae are being found.
